Dance & Tumbling Classes
Acro dance incorporates fluid movements of dance with the difficult tricks from acrobatics. Dancers not only learn how to execute each move with strength, flexibility, and technique, but also learn how to incorporate it into a dance routine. ​​

Acro dance gives dancers a foundation to build flexibility, coordination, strength, as well as control of their body. Acro is a great creative outlet for their feelings and self-expression. They will be able to express themselves through movement and learn how to channel their energy into positivity.

Acro dance allows kids to work in teams and helps to develop and build their self-confidence.

Since Hip-Hop is such a broad genre, it gives students room to interpret movements in various ways. Although Hip-Hop classes are fast-paced and challenging, it allows each dancer to emphasize their creative rhythmic talents.

All movement will be modest and age appropriate and all music will be free of questionable lyrics. Hip-Hop is a fast-paced class focused on body isolations, popping, locking, break dance style floor work. Self-confidence, swag/attitude, and musicality are a main focus.

The dancers will learn how to rhythmically move their toes and heels to create musical sounds.

Musical Theatre is a jazz-based class filled with Broadway style music and dancing. This class will incorporate the style of dance that is typically seen on a Broadway stage. This style of dance emphasizes learning performance skills, connecting with an audience, and facial expressions.

This musical theatre class is perfect for dancers wanting to become more confident in other styles of dance, young aspiring actors wanting to expand their dance technique, or for children hoping to find a new found love for movement!

Contemporary dance is a style of interpretive dance that embraces innovation, blending techniques from various genres, including classical ballet, jazz, modern and lyrical dance styles. Contemporary focuses more on floor work over leg work and pointe and isn’t restricted by the rules of traditional dance forms. Contemporary relies on improvisation and versatility and is characterized by freedom of movement and fluidity, letting dancers explore the mind-body connection and ideally evoking emotion in the audience.
There are five different levels for tumbling based on skill level.
